TACTICAL ARMOR:
Progressive's SWAT Unit is made for police, military special forces and other specialized uses when the wearer needs to carry an array of equipment which must be readily available. In addition to providing specially designed pockets, straps, hangers, pouches and pads, these units can be equipped with pockets for hard armor plates to provide protection from rifle fire.

These units can also be equipped, if desired, with Groin Protectors, a ballistic protective pack which hinges from the lower front of the jacket and covers the lower abdominal area.

Our Tactical units can be made with a special pocket for the insertion of special hard armor plates for rifle fire protection. These units typically carry our plate made of steel and SPECTRA Weighing 6.2 pounds at a thickness of 3/8 inch. The plate provides protection from a variety if rifle threats. Our hard armor steel plate is state of the art and we maintain proprietary rights to a special heat treat process which permits us to achieve this extraordinary performance.

Our new Level IV Plate weighs only 6.75 pounds at a thickness of only 5/8 inch, and protects from various armor piercing rounds. The TAC4-AOM is very durable and has multi-hit capability. All Progressive plates are 10 X 12 inches.
